I've gotten a performing job with HowDrama for this Art In Film Festival, (more details here) and I'm pretty stoked to do a little bit of performing arts after such a long time since theatre acting ended for me when I left secondary school. I loved how it enables you to channel your energy and emotion into something you create yourself and it turns out to be like nothing you've ever imagined. I still love it. Thank my ex drama instructor for giving me the job, Ms Ross is the best.
Last weekend my grand-aunts from Brisbane came over to visit. Their visit made me further desire to get out of the country and just stay out of it. They were really cute and funny telling the family all the stories of living so far away, and when they spoke in English I expected and Aussie accent but they still had that little Penang accent they've had since they were originally from there. I don't know, Singapore makes me feel quite claustrophobic now that every piece of land is being converted to a condominium or apartment building. I really liked the random plots of grassy land where people would fly their kites, play soccer or just chill there. At least in a bigger country there'd be more room to breathe and more things to do. That's what I think anyway.
